In-Shape Fitness: Lathrop is filled with premier State-Of-The Art cardiovascular equipment. Our members can choose from treadmills, elliptical trainers, stair climber, cycles, rowers and so much more. In-Shape Fitness: Lathrop is designed to allow members flexibility in choice of machines, reducing the chance of injury and increasing the excitement of trying new equipment. In-Shape Cardio Theater

You will never be bored with our flat screen televisions and In-Shape Cardio Theater entertainment. tune your FM radio to the corresponding station you want to listen to and enjoy your exercise. (FM radios with headphones available for sale at the front desk).

Personal Training

Every person has different health and fitness needs. At In-Shape Fitness, our certified personal trainers are dedicated to helping you achieve your goals by providing quality individualized programming. Your trainer will motivate, support, and monitor your progress. He or she will also ensure that you are using proper technique, and assist you in achieving your fitness level.

Selectorized Machines

Lifefitness and Nautilus are among the most popular brands of selectorized equipment.  These machines are typically regarded as safe and easy to use, providing a fixed range of motion so the user isolates the muscle(s) on which he/she is focusing.  However, safer doesn’t mean risk free. Proper form and body alignment are still required to maximize safety.

Machines are easier to learn and perform correctly than free weights. The fixed range of motion that machines provide makes proper form more likely. This is particularly beneficial for the novice lifter.


Stretching & Abdominal Area

A fitness club would not be complete without an area and equipment dedicated to stretching before or after your workout.  Not only does stretching help prevent injury, it helps your muscles recover from stress and get the maximum benefit from activity.

Our abdominal area provides mats, balls, and other tools to help you crunch your way to a tighter mid-section.


Locker Rooms

Our new locker rooms feature high-end finishes and relaxing décor to make your club experience enjoyable.  Day lockers are free to use – members must bring temporary locks to secure their belongings.  On-site showers provide a quick and easy way to complete your workout and meet the rest of your day.

Re-Shape 29 Minute Circuit

If you want to get fit fast, In-Shape’s Re-Shape 29 Minute Circuit is definitely one of the best options available to you. In-Shape’s circuit training program is an extremely efficient way to burn fat while building and toning muscle at the same time. It’s also a great way to get fit without getting bored!

 

The Re-Shape Express Circuit consists of 13 stations with a cardio interval, upper body and lower body exercise sequence. The sequence is as follow:

 

- Bike (Cardio)

- Shoulder Press (Shoulders)  

- Chest Press (Chest)

- Leg Curl (Hamstrings)

- Leg Press / Quad Press

  (Hamstring, Quadriceps &
