Programming for Seniors

In-Shape offers a number of programs dedicated to helping our senior members stay active and live a healthy In-Shape lifestyle. In addition to offering the SilverSneakers® Program at several locations, we have also partnered with the Arthritis Foundation to broaden the scope of our senior programming.

In-Shape Health Clubs proudly partners with the Arthritis Foundation, the largest national nonprofit organization that supports the more than 100 types of arthritis and related conditions. Through the group classes designed by the Arthritis Foundation, we are able to offer programs that target the unique needs of our senior members.

A.F.A.P. Aquatics® improves and sustains participants' joint mobility, muscle tone, functional endurance and independence. AF Tai Chi for Arthritis® is a gentle form of exercise that helps to reduce pain, stiffness and fatigue of arthritis, improves physical function, muscle strength, flexibility and balance and also promotes correct body posture.

In-Shape Health Clubs is proud to announce our expanded partnership with Healthways to offer the SilverSneakers® Program at several of our facilities.

SilverSneakers® is a program designed by Healthways to help older adults take greater control of their health. This program offers eligible Medicare recipients no cost gym memberships, customized SilverSneakers® exercise classes, social interaction, and other program benefits.

We are excited to be a part of improving the lives of older adults. Our fabulous, award-winning clubs, with state-of-the-art fitness equipment and amenities, offer SilverSneakers® members the perfect venue for healthy living.
