(February 18, 2010) – In-Shape Health Clubs is announcing the Grand Re-Opening of its newest club- In-Shape City: Concord, a 65,000 square foot state-of-the-art fitness facility at 5294 Clayton Road, Concord, CA. The new club is the company’s 31st and their fourth in the region. In-Shape is one of the fastest-growing fitness and health companies in the country, offering In-Shape “Sport”, “City”, and “Fitness” locations to members throughout California.
“We saw a need in Concord and set out to exceed the expectations that the community had of health clubs in the area,” said Rob Farrens, In-Shape’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “During a time when stress and childhood obesity are at an all-time high, we’ve resolved to give the residents of Concord as many tools as possible to deal with the issues facing them daily.”
Members have already seen the exciting changes happen in front of their eyes. In-Shape City: Concord has installed many brand new features, including: the upstairs cardio room containing 102 new pieces of cardio equipment and 24-flat screen TV’s, the addition of the Re-Shape 29-Minute Circuit Training, new Nautilus One equipment, and new spin bikes. Remodel and upgrade work was also completed, including: Men’s & Women’s locker rooms, the Kids Club, steam & sauna rooms, the Group X room, Women’s Workout area, the outdoor pool, and spin and yoga studios.
Everyone is raving about the revitalized club, “Members are delighted with the changes to the club,” said Concord General Manager Jason Seymore. “Those who saw the old Mavericks agree that now the club has morphed into a fitness resort that they are thrilled to come to every day. The spirit around here is alive with positive energy.”
A Grand Opening party will be held on-site on February 24 from 5-8pm. Members of the public and media are invited to see the new facility, enjoy hors d’oeuvres and prizes, and try out the equipment and amenities, and have their body fat tested free of charge during the event. New members who sign up that day will also receive a special gift. A raffle will be held that evening to win a Wii and Wii Fit console.
