IN-SHAPE HEALTH CLUBS Completes $6 Million Remodel
While Economy Tightens, In-Shape Invests to Increase Member Value
STOCKTON, CA (April 22, 2009) – In-Shape Health Clubs has announced completion of a $6 million remodel to their Stockton area locations. The remodel represents the most extensive transformation in the company’s history.
“We’re thrilled to provide the best fitness and recreation facilities to Stockton residents,” said Rob Farrens, In-Shape’s Executive Vice President. “We’ve spent a lot of time and money adding the best equipment, amenities, and family-friendly programs to our clubs, and we can now say they truly deliver the best resources and resort environments in the area, hands-down.”
During the remodel, In-Shape’s locations were given extreme makeovers that include:
- New childcare facilities with play mazes, outdoor play equipment, and sport courts
- New indoor and outdoor pools with waterslides
- Refurbished racquetball and tennis courts (indoor and outdoor)
- Beautifully remodeled locker rooms
- New state-of-the-art cardio, weight training equipment, and group exercise studios
“Our members are astonished by the remodel!” said Lynn Sherwood, General Manager of In-Shape Sport: Quail Lakes, located on March Lane. “They appreciate all the investment we made in their club. They get to enjoy brand new equipment and resort-level facilities – the best in the area - for an incredibly competitive price.”
The public and members of the media are invited to a Grand Re-Opening Party that will take place at the company’s flagship location, In-Shape Sport: West Lane, on April 29 from 5-7pm. Members and non-members alike can tour the facility, eat free BBQ, enjoy giveaways and prizes, and try out the new amenities free of charge. In addition, all non-members who attend will receive a FREE 30-DAY MEMBERSHIP to the club, no strings attached.
